R.B. Godley Elementary School teachers got a big surprise on September 18, 2023, when the principal and assistant principal took over classrooms.

Principal Jodie Dickson and Assistant Principal Leah McCauley each took turns in classrooms throughout the day to reward teachers at the beginning of the seventh week of the school year.

“Teachers have been working so hard, and we wanted to give them one of the best and most precious commodities - time,” they said. 

The first quarter of the school year continues through Oct. 6, when students and teachers will depart for a week-long fall break.
