Godley ISD Superintendent Dr. Rich Dear convened student advisory committees at both Godley High School and Godley Middle School in March 2023.

The leadership groups advise the superintendent on current facilities, courses, programs and more and what the students would like to see in the future.  With nominations from teachers and staff, the students join the committees to help better the campuses as well as the school district as a whole.

Students on the advisory groups are:

• 12th Grade:  Willie Carter, Cate Heiner, Brittany Roark, Rafael Rojas

• 11th Grade:  Andrea Aguilar, Zoe Carroll, Owen Dickson, Camden Flood, Carsyn Wheeler

• 10th Grade:  Samantha Anderson, Wyatt Burke, Emily Holton, Semaj Johnson, Creed Miller

• 9th Grade:  Keegan Bohannon, Alberto Diaz, Stephanie Favela, Sadie Hughey, Bella Van Wart

• 8th Grade:  Gavin Bridges, Britton Everroad, Hayden Keeton, Ryder Papasan, Kinzy Riney

• 7th Grade:  Campbell Armstrong, Cali Harrington, Jaxon Hill, Jack Van Wart, Emma Wilkin

Joining the lunch meetings were principals Kurtis Flood and Tom Frazier.
