Godley ISD uses ParentSquare as its primary communication platform for district, campus, classroom, and student activity information. ParentSquare allows schools and teachers to communicate with families through email, text messages, phone calls, website notifications, and mobile app messages—all from one convenient platform.

Getting Started

ParentSquare automatically creates an account for every parent or guardian using the email address and phone number listed in Skyward Family Access. No additional sign-up is required.

Parents are encouraged to activate their accounts to customize communication preferences, download the mobile app, and ensure contact information is up to date.

You may register using either the email address or phone number on file with your child's school.

Communication Preferences

ParentSquare gives families flexibility in how and when they receive notifications.

By default, families receive a daily digest email and text message at approximately 6 p.m. that summarizes all communications received throughout the day. This helps reduce the number of individual notifications while ensuring families stay informed.

Parents may choose to adjust their notification settings to receive messages instantly or continue receiving daily summaries.

ParentSquare Mobile App

The ParentSquare mobile app provides easy access to all district, campus, classroom, and activity communications in one place. Through the app, families can:

  • View messages from teachers, schools, and the district
  • Receive notifications and reminders
  • Sign forms and permission slips
  • Respond to surveys
  • Communicate directly with teachers and staff
  • Manage notification preferences

Using the mobile app is optional. Families may continue to receive and access communications through email, text messages, phone calls, or the ParentSquare website.

StudentSquare (Grades 6-12)

Godley ISD secondary students in grades 6-12 use StudentSquare, the student version of ParentSquare.

StudentSquare allows teachers, coaches, sponsors, and campus staff to communicate directly with students through individual messages, group messages, classroom announcements, and activity updates.

The platform provides many of the same features available in ParentSquare and helps students stay informed about assignments, events, extracurricular activities, and school announcements.
