Mission Statement:

The mission of the Godley ISD Health Services is to provide an optimal and safe educational environment by supporting students with health related needs and collaborating with students, parents, staff, and health care providers. 

Philosophy: 

With numerous years of nursing experience, we take pride in calling ourselves school nurses.  We continually evaluate the health and safety of students in our schools in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.   An integral part of the education team is assessing the whole child’s physical, mental, emotional and social development.  Our primary goal is to assess, care for, and return the child to the classroom setting for optimal learning.  If we conclude, based on our assessment, that the child needs further evaluation; an appropriate referral will be made.
