High School Hybrid School Proposal
Exploring a Potential Hybrid Learning Option for Juniors and Seniors
Godley ISD is exploring a potential hybrid learning option for high school juniors and seniors that could provide added flexibility while maintaining strong academic expectations and student support.
Under the proposed model, eligible students could take up to two virtual courses during each of their junior and senior years while continuing to participate in their Godley ISD educational experience.
Proposed Program Overview
The hybrid option is being studied as a possible opportunity for students who are prepared to succeed in a more independent learning environment.
To participate, students would be expected to meet eligibility requirements, including:
- Good academic standing
- Good behavioral standing
- Ongoing compliance with program expectations and district requirements
Community Interest Survey
To help guide planning efforts, Godley ISD conducted an interest survey for both current Godley ISD families and those not currently enrolled in the district.
The survey closed on April 15, 2026.
Survey responses will be used for planning purposes only.
Important Notes
At this time, no final decision has been made regarding implementation of the proposed hybrid learning option.
Participation in the survey did not:
- Guarantee the program will be offered
- Determine student eligibility
- Enroll a student in Godley ISD
- Enroll a student in virtual courses
Next Steps
District leaders will review survey feedback and continue evaluating whether this potential opportunity aligns with student needs, academic goals and operational considerations.
Any future decisions, eligibility details and application information will be shared with families if the proposal moves forward.
