   1. Discussed the Region 20 Education Service Center Site - website that has many resources that are valuable to SHAC
3. Consider Approving the Godley ISD SHAC By-Laws- they were sent to the district attorney and recommendations were received with changes made.
   1. A motion to approve the bylaws and was second.
   2. By Laws approved by majority vote - unanimous
4. Elect SHAC Officers
   1. Committee members were present to vote. Director Brian Hunt serves as the Chair. Parent members are needed for Co Chair and Secretary. Volunteers for both Co chair and Secretary positions. Committee voted on those who volunteered
   2. Co Chair- Marcus M. and Secretary Jessica M.
5. Public Hearing (1 of 2 meetings)
   1. No public in attendance. Meeting is videoed and will be posted and available for the public.
   2. Family violence,Dating violence and Human/Sex trafficking education is starting in the 8th grade starting in this school year.
      1. If parents wants to see the curriculum/lesson plan and presentation then it can be viewed with Wendy Fisk at the middle school.
      2. Presentation is available to see Human Trafficking.pptx and can also be freely found on the internet
      3. Ashley Blue is the middle school coach that will be teaching this curriculum in December
      4. curriculum was approved by experts: Brian Hunt, Rhonda Evans, Airemey Caudle and Ashley Blue
      5. Ashley Blue to come up with alternate assignment for children that are not opted- in for the presentation
   3. SHAC committee agree with curriculum
   4. Discussions over different presenters that can come and speak about dangers of Human trafficking that could be beneficial to the high school. Unbound is one program with speakers - Rhonda to check with this. Marcus M knows someone that has been in the Navy to help with this as
      well. Brian to get in touch with Marcus in the future.
