The Godley High School Wildcat golf team captured the championship at the Glen Rose Spring Invitational held March 25-26, 2026, at Squaw Valley Golf Course.

The Wildcats posted a team score of 305 to secure the tournament title. Team members included Kyle Black, Jaxon Hill, Tripp Karnes, Austin Merritt and Dylan Mourning.

Sophomore Jaxon Hill led the Wildcats with a strong individual performance, shooting a 71 to place third overall.

In the girls division, the Godley Ladycats finished third overall. Team members included Mak DeFoor, Maddie Fitzgerald, Carmen Galofaro, Ryleigh Hillis and Marleigh Thompson.

The strong performances by both teams continue a successful spring season for the Godley golf program.
