Twenty-one Godley High School football players received District 4-4A honors following the 2024 season.
Kicker Noah Lopez was named Special Teams Player of the Year.
Others named to the district squad were:
- 1st Team: Tanner Bruton, wide receiver; Wyatt Burke, quarterback; Alberto Diaz, linebacker; Daniel Glidewell, defensive lineman; Christian Gonzalez, center; Creed Miller, safety; Bradey Thomas, safety
- 2nd Team: Blane Applegate, wide receiver; Crosby Carmichael, receiver; Shawn Kazouh, running back/defensive back; Ty Mathis, linebacker; Lane Nichols, outside linebacker; Adam Pempsell, running back
- Honorable Mention: Wesley Barker, defensive lineman; Keegan Bohannon, offensive lineman; Cristian Escobedo, cornerback; Briggs Flood, offensive lineman; Tripp Karnes, tight end; Caden Lewis, outside linebacker; Weston Whitten, defensive lineman
Advancing to the postseason after placing third in District 4-4A, Godley battled the Brock Eagles in the Division II bi-district playoffs, falling 46-10.
