Godley Wildcats are headed to the 2025 baseball postseason after clinching the District 12-4A title with a 9-1 win over Hillsboro on April 22, 2025.

The Wildcats will host Dallas Carter for a one-game bi-district matchup on Thursday, May 1 at 7 p.m.

The GHS boys posted an 11-1 record to capture the district championship.  They beat Ferris 20-1 on Mar. 14 and 15-3 on Mar. 18, beat Venus 4-3 on Mar. 21 and 10-0 on Mar. 25, beat Alvarado 6-5 on Mar. 28 and 5-4 on Apr. 1, split games with Waxahachie Life 5-4 on Apr. 4 and 2-4 on Apr. 8, beat Kennedale 8-7 on Apr. 11 and 4-3 on Apr. 15, and then beat Hillsboro 16-3 on Apr. 17 before the district finale.

Varsity Wildcats include Tabor Anderson, Crosby Carmichael, Grayson Crane, Jaxon Daily, Camden Darder, Jackson Duke, Christian Gonzalez, Brison Loera, Byron McClure, Marcos Molina, Gio Molina, Ryder Papasan, Adam Pempsell, Brady Phillips, Talan Roever, Braxton Spohn and Jaydon Spurlock.

Head coach Ben Ogle is assisted by Brock Sherrod, Austin Smith and athletic trainer Duke Graham.  Managers are Kytzia Cortez and Amiyah Edwards.
