Godley Wildcats captured a bi-district football championship with a 27-6 victory over Midland Greenwood on November 11, 2022, at Abilene Christian University’s Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium.

Godley advances to the area round to face Seminole on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. The playoff contest will be played at Wilford Moore Stadium on the campus of McMurry University in Abilene.

Varsity team members are Daniel Alexander, Kole Allen, Blane Applegate, Wyatt Burke, Vincent Buzalsky, Daniel Clidewell, Drew Coleman, Alex Duran, Keaton Eggleston, Ryan Gambino, Tate Grimsley, Ethan Hall, Nic Harrison, Trey Hindash, Cameron Leverett, Kevin Maldanado, Erik Marski, Elijah Matthews, Preston Maxwell, Cole Miller, Seth Neel, Ethan Parkinson, Jacob Pempsell, Lucas Ponce, Hagan Robertson, Chris Sinku, Kade Sundheim, Landon Thigpen, Brady Thomas, Saul Valle, Caleb Vandygrift, Gavin Vasquez and Brennan Wilson.

Subvarsity players moving up for the playoffs include Cane Albee, Keagan Bohannon, Tanner Bruton, Crosby Carmichael, Ben Clark, Alberto Diaz, Oscar Enriquez, Christian Gonzales, Landon Lawson, Caden Lewis, Ty Mathis, Byron McClure, Cain Mueller, Lane Nichols, Jace Osborne, Joseph Ramirez, Dax Tanksley, Westin Whitten and Logan Wilson.

Head coach Curtis Lowery is assisted by Billy Dan Chambliess, Garrett Cole, James Jeanes, Kim Kanaman, Brent Lewis, Nick Manshack, Chase Marler, Corey Quinn, Toby Rumfield, Will Sloan, Eric Sundheim and athletic trainer Duke Graham.
