Godley Wildcats defeated the visiting Dallas Carter Cowboys to capture the bi-district championship in the Class 4A Division II baseball playoffs on May 1, 2025.

The Wildcats dominated the Cowboys 13-0 and won the postseason matchup in five innings with sophomore Tabor Anderson notching the milestone of 100 career strikeouts.

In the area round, Godley will face either Krum or Van Alstyne.  As of May 1, Van Alstyne holds a 1-0 advantage over Krum in the best-of-three series.

Varsity Wildcats include Tabor Anderson, Crosby Carmichael, Grayson Crane, Jaxon Daily, Camden Darder, Jackson Duke, Christian Gonzalez, Brison Loera, Byron McClure, Marcos Molina, Gio Molina, Ryder Papasan, Adam Pempsell, Brady Phillips, Talan Roever, Braxton Spohn and Jaydon Spurlock.

Head coach Ben Ogle is assisted by Brock Sherrod, Austin Smith and athletic trainer Duke Graham.  Managers are Kytzia Cortez and Amiyah Edwards.
