The Godley Wildcats battled the Sweetwater Mustangs in a Class 4A Division II bi-district matchup on November 10, 2023, at Gordon Wood Stadium in Brownwood.
Godley fell to the Mustangs 35-34 after a hard-fought game. Sweetwater advanced to the area round to face Monahans.
The Wildcats finish 5-6 on the season, with a 4-1 district record that earned the team a second-place finish.
