Godley High School senior Wyatt Burke announced plans to continue playing football in college at Texas Wesleyan University during a signing ceremony on February 11, 2025.

With the university located in Fort Worth, the Rams compete in the Sooner Athletic Conference with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Burke helped the Wildcats reach the Class 4A Division II postseason in both 2023 and 2024, the quarterback was an honorable mention pick for all-district squads as a junior and then a first-team honoree in 2024 as a senior.  Burke also earned All-Johnson County accolades both years.

Teammates Tanner Bruton and Shawn Kazouh previously made their college commitments on Feb. 5, and the seniors are headed to Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene.
