The Godley Wildcats advanced to the Class 4A Division II bi-district playoffs, facing Dallas Carter on Feb. 23, 2026, at Mansfield Lake Ridge High School.

Godley fell to the Carter Cowboys 95-49 in the first-round matchup.

The Wildcats earned their first playoff berth since 2022 after defeating District 12-4A rival Ferris 48-44 in a play-in game on Feb. 20 at Midlothian High School. The two teams split their regular-season district meetings.

The varsity roster included Eric Alugbe, Coby Ball, Brayden Brantley, Noah Demetres, Kaleb Elizaldi, Aharon Green, Beckett Hardcastle, Zadrian Hendrix, Jaxon Hill, Adidas Kazouh, Cameron Rosser, Cy Tennery and Sean Warren.

Head coach Jason Hill was assisted by Terry Smith, Austin Smith and Dakota Chandler, along with athletic trainer Nichole Harmon. Team managers were Derrick Gillard, Zion Johnson, Lucy Payne and Blake Weeg.
