Godley Wildcat head basketball coach Jason Hill reached a major career milestone during the team’s 68-38 District 12-4A road victory over Venus on January 6, 2026.

The win marked the 400th victory of Hill’s coaching career as the Wildcats opened district play following the Christmas break.

Hill joined Godley ISD in 2020 after spending 21 years in Keene, including 18 seasons as head basketball coach and 16 years as athletic director. He earned his 300th career win during the 2019-20 season, with all of those victories coming during his tenure at Keene.

The Wildcats are now 1-1 in district play and will host Kennedale on Friday, Jan. 9, in the GHS Arena.
