Godley High School senior Byron McClure announced plans to continue playing baseball in college during a signing ceremony on December 12, 2024.

McClure is headed to Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kansas, where the Beavers compete in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

The GHS senior was a member of the 2024 varsity squad, which advanced to the Class 4A regional quarterfinals after winning the area championship over Anna.
