The Godley Wildcats wrapped up the 2026 season in the Class 4A Division II area round against Aubrey on May 7-8, 2026, at Haltom High School.

Aubrey won the playoff series in two games, earning a 5-4 victory in Game 1 before securing the series with a 10-5 win in Game 2.

The Wildcats reached the area round after opening the playoffs with a dominant bi-district sweep of Dallas Carter by scores of 10-0 and 11-0.

The Godley roster included Tabor Anderson, Trystin Cardona, Asher Crane, Grayson Crane, Jaxon Daily, Lathen Hankins, Beckett Hardcastle, Madix Herron, Kinsler Kent, Brison Loera, Gio Molina, Ryder Papasan, Brady Phillips, Talan Roever, Braxton Spohn, Kingston Tompkins and Colton White.

Godley was led by head coach Ben Ogle with assistance from Brock Sherrod and Austin Smith.
