Godley High School senior Bella Van Wart will continue her volleyball career at Dallas Baptist University following a signing ceremony at Godley High School on December 12, 2025.

The Patriots compete in NCAA Division II athletics as a member of the Lone Star Conference.

A four-year varsity player, Van Wart was named District 12-4A Most Valuable Player for the 2025 season after helping lead the Ladycats to an undefeated district run and an appearance in the area round of the playoffs.

Van Wart earned All-State honors from the Texas Girls Coaches Association as a junior. She was a first-team all-district selection in 2023 and 2024 and received honorable mention recognition as a freshman in 2022.
