Godley High School students in the Texas Association of Future Educators chapter earned top honors at the 42nd annual Teach Tomorrow Summit held February 26–28, 2026, in Dallas.

Three GHS entries qualified for national competition through strong performances in their respective events. Yulissa Arteaga and Jordan Minter, along with Addison Coats and Zaylee Deponte, both advanced to nationals in the Teacher Created Materials category. Caleb Auzenne also earned a national berth with his project in Exploring Non-Core Education Careers.

Additional honors included a silver medal for Janice Aguilar in the Exploring Administrative Careers category. Samantha Moore also represented GHS as a state-level participant in the Interactive Bulletin Board competition.

National qualifiers will advance to the 2026 Educators Rising National Conference scheduled for June 20–23 in Portland, Oregon.

TAFE is a Career and Technical Student Organization that is part of the Education and Training career cluster. The organization provides students opportunities to explore careers in education while developing leadership skills and preparing the next generation of teachers and child-development professionals.
