
Godley High School students in the Texas Association of Texas Educators chapter excelled in state competition during the 41st Annual Teach Tomorrow Summit on February 17-19, 2025, in Galveston.
Two students earned spots in the national competition: Caleb Auzenne in Teacher Created Materials and Kytzia Cortez in Interactive Bulletin Board. They advance to the Educators Rising national conference on June 26-29 in Orlando, Florida.
Gold Award winners were Gianna Demetres and Emily Holton in Teacher Created Materials and Zegan Roamell in Children’s Literature K-3.
Students earning Silver Awards were the Interactive Bulletin Board teams of Aaliyah Flores and Janice Aguilar, Lucy Payne and Zaida Diaz, and Yulissa Arteaga and Aitana Piqueras.
TAFE is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that is part of the education and training career cluster with programs of study designed to develop the next generation of teachers and other child-development professionals.
