Godley High School students in the Texas Association of Future Educators chapter excelled in state competition during the 40th Annual Teach Tomorrow Summit on February 28-March 1, 2024, in Round Rock.

Students earning recognition were:

• Interactive Bulletin Board:  Astin Anglin and Aidan Escalante, gold; Zaida Diaz, gold; Makenzie Hills and Dakota Jones, silver

• Teacher Created Materials:  Gianna Demetres and Emily Holton, silver; Sherlyn Sandoval, bronze

Also competing at the state event were Maria Suarez Alvarez (Teacher-Created Materials) and Belinda Ramierez (Children’s Literature - Spanish).

TAFE is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that is part of the education and training career cluster with programs of study designed to develop the next generation of teachers and other child-development professionals.
