
Two Godley High School students in the Texas Association of Texas Educators chapter competed at the national level during the Educators Rising national conference on June 26-29, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.
The national contestants were Caleb Auzenne in Teacher Created Materials and Kytzia Cortez in Interactive Bulletin Board. Auzenne is a GHS sophomore, while Cortez is a recent high school graduate in the Class of 2025.
The students advanced from state competition during the 41st Annual Teach Tomorrow Summit held in Galveston earlier this year.

TAFE is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that is part of the education and training career cluster with programs of study designed to develop the next generation of teachers and other child-development professionals.
