Student athletes for Godley High School fall sports were honored with selection to 2023-24 Academic All-State squads by state coaching associations.

Texas Girls Coaches Association recognized volleyball seniors Logan Reed and Brynn Staton as well as cross country runner Paola Diaz.

Six members of the Godley Wildcat football team were honored by the Texas High School Coaches Association.  Team members making the all-state squads were: 

• First Team:  Ryan Gambino

• Second Team:  Trey Hindash, Jacob Pempsell, Saul Valle

• Honorable Mention:  Alex Duran, Kade Sundheim

Academic All-State honors are limited to athletes, student trainers or managers in good standing with the team and who are of good moral character, are a senior and have high grade point averages.
