Student-athletes from Godley High School fall sports were recognized for excellence in the classroom with selection to 2025-26 Academic All-State teams by state coaching associations.

The Texas Girls Coaches Association honored five Ladycat volleyball seniors: Peyton Bower, Calleigh Brewer, Nola Briscoe, Lila Heiner and Bella Van Wart.

The Texas High School Coaches Association also recognized 10 members of the Godley Wildcat football team for academic achievement.  They were:

• First Team:  Keegan Bohannon
• Second Team:  Briggs Flood, Tripp Karnes, Nash Pannell, Adam Pempsell, Logan Wilson
• Honorable Mention:  Jaxon Daily, Alberto Diaz, Caden Lewis, Noah Lopez

Academic All-State honors are awarded to seniors who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, maintain good standing with their team, and exemplify strong character and leadership.
