“Starbooks” opened a new location at Pleasant View Elementary School on October 3, 2024.

Third graders at the campus were challenged to “sip, taste and read” for the book tasting.

The literacy strategy transforms the classrooms to encourage students to love reading, according to the teachers.  Students are engaged by giving them choice and making reading more relevant.
