Godley 6th Grade Campus gifted and talented students presented “Speak Up, Speak Out” projects to classmates on March 22, 2023.

The project prompted sixth graders to develop essential questions based on a career path, research and then speak with an expert in the field. The group then shared their knowledge with the community. 

“The public speaking and research skills learned along the way will help them for years to come,” commented Godley ISD GT coordinator Alyssa Hanna.

This project was created and facilitated by Godley High School seniors Emma Franklin and Morgan Hood.  The GHS students developed and planned the initiative through an English IV course taught by Amanda Cloy, who uses the senior project to help students develop practical skills in technical writing, presentations, interviews and more as they prepare for college and the workforce.
