Seventh grade cross country teams captured gold again at the Granbury Race for the Loot meet on September 28, 2022, at the Granbury Disc Golf Course.
Both the seventh grade boys and girls earned first-place trophies, with eighth grade boys and girls were second and third respectively. Several runners finished among the top ten in their races: 7th grade girls Kennedy Black, Grace McMullen, Dillon Akrdige, and Ryleigh Hillis; 7th grade boys Jonah Wood, Landon Bell, Eric Miramontes, Jaxon Hill; 8th grade girls Cam Bellmay and Kenzie Riney; 8th grade boys Cy Tennery and Brayden Brantley.
For each race, 10-12 teams competed with the runs including 100 or more student athletes.
