Godley ISD school board trustees canvassed results from the May election during a special meeting on May 13, 2026, at Legacy Elementary School.

As the top vote-getters, Houston and Smith were declared elected to three-year terms expiring in May 2029.
Houston will succeed Place 6 incumbent Craig Stevenson, who opted not to seek another term. Smith defeated Lain in the Place 7 contest.
School trustees will hold their next regular board meeting on Monday, May 18, when the new board members will be sworn in.
