Godley High School senior Logan Reed announced plans to continue playing basketball at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi during a signing ceremony on May 14, 2024.

The Islanders compete in the Southland Conference, a part of the NCAA Division I athletics.

Valedictorian for the GHS Class of 2024, Reed is an all-state basketball player who was also named most valuable player for both District 10-4A and All-Johnson County teams.  She was also the all-district offensive most valuable player for the Ladycats in volleyball.  Reed also has earned academic all-state honors as a student athlete.

The GHS senior is pictured with her parents, William and Leslie Reed, and siblings Lane and Emma along with GHS coaches. They were joined by Godley teammates at the college signing at GHS.
