Noah Artzt, a student at R.B. Godley Elementary School, competed in the Area 24 Spelling Bee on February 21, 2025, at the Cleburne ISD Administration Building.

The fifth grader was the runner-up among area students in the contest featuring ten winners from Johnson County schools.  This marked his second trip to the area level, placing fourth last year.

Artzt won the Godley ISD district spelling bee on Jan. 17. He and Pleasant View Elementary School fifth grader Cole Jeune battled through ten rounds before Artzt emerged the victor.  The district competition included top winners from Legacy, R.B. Godley and Pleasant View Elementary Schools.
