Godley High School students in the senior project class made presentations to their peers and other classmates on May 8-9, 2025, in the GHS Presentation Room.

With a focus on service, the seniors developed and planned their initiatives through an English IV course taught by Amanda Cloy, who uses the class to help students develop practical skills in technical writing, presentations, interviews and more as they prepare for college and the workforce.

Project presentations included:

  • GlowForge/Cricut:  Jordan Blakely
  • Godley Serves:  Wyatt Burke, Jackson Duke, Christian Gonzalez and Kovey Peacock
  • Johnson County Fields of Faith:  Samantha Andersen, Bailee Wallis and Ava Wilson
  • Purple Plates:  Taylour Lewis and Aubrey Schroeder
  • Reindeer Run:  Mackenzie Hillis and Caitlyn White
  • The Road to Graduation:  Emily Holton
  • Senior Video:  Dakota Watson
  • Wildcat Math and Test Strategies (WMATS):  Alyssa Castillo and Tyson Melson
  • Your Vote, Your Voice & Model UN:  Eliana Motsios

Presentations culminated the projects, which included planning and development, communication with mentors and participants, execution of the activities and submitting a lengthy process paper to summarize program components and timelines, strengths, weaknesses, tips for future students and more.
