Godley High School students in the Senior Project class made presentations to their peers and other classmates on May 8-9, 2023, in the GHS Presentation Room.

With a focus on service, the seniors developed and planned their initiatives through an English IV course taught by Amanda Cloy, who uses the class to help students develop practical skills in technical writing, presentations, interviews and more as they prepare for college and the workforce.

Project presentations included:

  • Bradley Bearden:  Dog Vaccination Clinic

  • Kendall Castor, Dallas Lane and Kirsten Robles:  Hype Videos

  • Jessica Castillo and Brianna Rascon:  Bilingual Book Drive

  • Colby Coym and Treven Pool:  Ag Day

  • Miracle Daniel:  Organization of the GHS Library

  • Emma Franklin and Morgan Hood:  Speak Up, Speak Out

  • Symphany Grier:  Middle School Boot Camp

  • Ethan Hall and Seth Henderson:  Endorsement Fair and Presentations

  • Parker Huston:  Student Resource Center

  • Matthew Lloyd:  Cheddar Bay Podcast

  • Armando Palacios:  Tree Beautification

  • Audrey Rodriguez:  Friends’ Fest

  • Audrey Rodriguez and Kerri Roy:  Reindeer Run

  • Allison Stinson and Zoie Switzer:  Senior Video

  • Mary Zavala:  Reading Buddy Program

Presentations culminated the projects, which included planning and development, communication with mentors and participants, execution of the activities and submitting a lengthy paper to summarize program components and timelines, strengths, weaknesses, tips for future students and more.
