Godley ISD pre-kindergarten students were surprised by Christmas stories and new books to take home on December 19, 2023.

Reading to the students was the Superintendent Dr. Rich Dear, who delivered new books to the students who attend Pleasant View Elementary School and R.B. Godley Elementary School.

StoryBook Christmas is sponsored by the Community Education Advisory Council serving Johnson County schools.   The goal of the council is to promote lifelong learning, including giving away personalized books to start the process.
