Pleasant View Elementary School students celebrated their reading club progress on October 18, 2024.

All students read nine books over the course of the first quarter, according to Principal Melissa Block. 

“For younger students in kindergarten and first grade, they choose one book and then listed three facts or wrote a summary depending on whether their book is fiction or nonfiction,” Block commented. “Older students are tasked with creating choice boards based on books they read.”

Students were rewarded with some games and puzzles for achieving their reading goals.
