David Falter is a new officer with the Godley ISD Police Department.

With over 26 years of law enforcement experience, Falter serves all GISD campuses under the leadership of Chief Matt Quinteros.

Most recently, Falter worked with the Benbrook Police Department and Fort Worth ISD as a school resource officer.

Falter holds a master peace officer license and is certified in both School-Based Law Enforcement (SBLE) and Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT). He has completed over 2,000 hours of continued education training with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement encompassing over 100 training courses and 30 police certifications. 

In addition, Falter has completed training related to security, emergency management, special education law, trauma-informed practices, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), behavior, and the autism spectrum.
