Graduating seniors in the National Honor Society recognized Godley ISD staff members and other educators during the “Circle of Heroes” ceremony on May 5, 2025, at Godley High School.

The seniors and their honored hero were:

• Mackenzie Hillis:  ReEtta Roever, GHS English teacher/dance coach
• Emily Holton:  Bianca Heath, GHS math teacher

The students also honored senior class sponsors Amanda Cloy and Jeff Hughes.

Founded in 1921, the NHS is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students.  More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning.
