Bryan Myres, the Godley ISD finance director, departed the school district in late November 2023 for a similar position with Carroll ISD in Southlake.

Myres now serves as Executive Director of Finance with CISD.

“We appreciate Bryan’s service to Godley students and staff, and we wish him all the best in Southlake,” commented Superintendent Dr. Rich Dear. 

Growing up in Burleson, Myres attended the University of Texas at Arlington and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting.  He has worked in education for 17 years with the last seven in Godley.  Myres previously was business manager and accountant with Burleson ISD.
