Godley High School senior Morgan Cummings announced plans to continue playing soccer at Hill College during a signing ceremony on April 24, 2025.

Located in Hillsboro, the Rebels compete in Region 5 of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Cummings helped the Ladycats reach for the Class 4A Division II regional finals for the first time in school history, with the Godley girls winning their first-ever postseason contest.

The GHS senior was recently named to the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches’ all-state defensive second team and will represent the region in the All-Star Game. Cummings was also earned defensive MVP honors for the soccer district, with previous awards as first-team all-district.  She shared defensive player of the year recognition on this year’s All-Johnson County soccer team reported by the Cleburne Times-Review.
