Godley High School seniors Baylee Mobley and Brynn Staton hit big milestones during the Ladycats’ home volleyball matchup with Venus on October 20, 2023.

Mobley finished the game with 1,000 digs and 1,500 kills, while Staton celebrated 2,000 assists.

The varsity Ladycats defeated the visiting Lady Bulldogs (25-8, 25-18, 25-13) to remain undefeated in District 10-4A play.  The Godley girls finished district action at Waxahachie Life on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

In addition to Mobley and Staton, the varsity squad also includes Ashtin Anglin, Kytzia Cortez, Michaela Davis, Ahmari Govea, Bree Hubbard, Catrina Leverett, Logan Reed, Trinity Roden, Bella Van Wart and Kyla Williams.  

Head coach Courtney Hammett is assisted by Ashley Blue and Skylar Warrick as well as managers Michaela Davis and Samantha Young.
