Baylee Mobley, a junior on the Godley Ladycat volleyball team, hit a big milestone during a playoff warmup game against Grapevine on October 28, 2022.

During the matchup versus the Class 5A Mustangs, Mobley hit the one-thousand mark for career kills.

Mobley and her varsity teammates recently completed a full sweep of District 10-4A volleyball play.  The district champions will face Fort Worth Dunbar in a bi-district playoff on Monday, Oct. 31 at Fort Worth ISD’s Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center.  Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.

The varsity squad also includes Lexi Abbott, Ashtin Anglin, Jessica Castillo, Kendall Castor, Bree Hubbard, Kori Jones, Catrina Leverett, Logan Reed, Kristen Robles, Trinity Roden, Audrey Rodriguez, Brynn Staton and Bella Van Wart.

Head coach Courtney Hammett is assisted by Ashley Blue and Rus Mayes, and managers are Michaela Davis and Nina Jimenez.
