Godley High School basketball student-athletes earned multiple District 12-4A honors following the 2025-26 season, recognizing outstanding performance on the court and excellence in the classroom.

Ladycats

The Ladycats were well represented across the district awards following a standout season that included a district championship, bi-district title and a deep playoff run.

Godley posted an 11-1 district record to capture its fourth consecutive district title, then earned a bi-district playoff victory before falling in a narrow 43-40 loss in the area round to Frisco Panther Creek.

Senior Kinlee Smith was named District 12-4A Most Valuable Player, leading a strong group of Ladycat honorees. Smith and Presley Hindash also earned all-region honors from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.

Ladycat players also excelled academically. Academic All-District honorees are Kase Grimsley, Lila Heiner, Presley Hindash, Ryleigh Hillis, Sadey Hughey, Kinlee Smith, Katie Ponce, Tatum Peacock, Bryce Reed and KK Wilson.

Wildcats

The Wildcats also received multiple district honors following a season that culminated in a playoff appearance.

Godley secured a postseason berth and advanced to the Class 4A Division II bi-district playoffs, where the Wildcats faced Dallas Carter in the opening round.

Coby Ball was named District 12-4A Newcomer of the Year, highlighting his impact in his first varsity season.

Wildcat players were also recognized for their work in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees are Eric Alugbe, Coby Ball, Noah Demetres, Beckett Hardcastle, Cy Tennery and Sean Warren.

All-district honors are selected by district coaches and recognize student-athletes for their performance, leadership and contributions throughout the season.
