Godley Ladycats scored a second postseason shutout with a 3-0 victory over the Castleberry Lady Lions in the Class 4A Division II area playoffs on March 25, 2025, at Castleberry High School.

For the regional semifinal, Godley will face Lady Patriots from Lubbock-Cooper Liberty High School  The game is set for 5 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 28 at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene. 

In the bi-district round, the Ladycats notched their first-ever postseason victory with a 7-0 over the Gatesville Lady Hornets on Mar. 21.

Finishing in second place during District 6-4A action, the GHS girls posted a 7-3 record to advance to the playoffs. This marks the team’s fourth postseason appearance since starting the soccer program in 2021.

Varsity Ladycats include Nola Briscoe, Cassie Capps, Morgan Cummings, Michaela Davis, Ryleigh Dollins, Kaylie Fabela, Stephanie Favela, Jordyn Geesaman, Griffin Gill, Rylie Graves, Sophia Hodges, Eden Kelly, Arynn Long, Gracelyn McMullen, Julyssa Ortiz, Rylee Swanson, Lexi Tyler and Kyla Williams.
