Eleven Godley Ladycats received District 12-4A honors following the 2025 season, which saw the Godley High School girls advance to area playoffs after sweeping all district foes throughout the regular season.

Senior Bella Van Wart was named Most Valuable Player, while junior Kase Grimsley earned Server of the Year recognition.

Other district honorees included:

• 1st Team:  Lila Heiner, Bryce Reed, Alissa Sullivan
• 2nd Team:  Calleigh Brewer, Nola Briscoe, Abbi Lee
• Honorable Mention:  Peyton Bower, Payton Wilcox

In addition, eight Ladycats received academic all-district honors: Peyton Bower, Calleigh Brewer, Nola Briscoe, Kenadie Gonzalez, Lila Heiner, Bryce Reed, and Bella Van Wart.

The Ladycats finished the regular season with a perfect 12-0 district record. After winning the district championship, they defeated Dallas Pinkston in the bi-district round before falling to Frisco Panther Creek in the area playoff.

In addition to Godley, District 12-4A schools are Alvarado, Ferris, Godley, Hillsboro, Kennedale, Venus and Waxahachie Life.
