Eleven Godley Ladycats received District 12-4A honors following the 2024 season, which saw the Godley High School girls advance to the regional semifinal after sweeping all district foes throughout the regular season.

Among superlative honorees, junior Lila Heiner was named Server of the Year.

Others named to the district squad were:

• 1st Team:  Kytzia Cortez, Bree Hubbard, Bella Van Wart
• 2nd Team:  Peyton Bower, Kase Grimsley, Kyla Williams
• Honorable Mention:  Callegh Brewer, Nola Briscoe, Abbi Lee, Payton Wilcox

Fifteen players and managers receiving academic all-district recognition were Peyton Bower, Calleigh Brewer, Nola Briscoe, Michaela Davis, Kenadie Gonzalez, Kase Grimsley, Lila Heiner, Bree Hubbard, Abbi Lee, Alissa Sullivan, Bella Van Wart, Baillee Wallis, Payton Wilcox, Kyla Williams and Sam Young.

The varsity Ladycats completed a full sweep of district volleyball play, posting a perfect 12-0 record.  The district champions beat Dallas Pinkston in the bi-district round and then Van Alstyne in the area level before falling to Pleasant Grove in the regional semifinal.
