Godley Ladycats dominated in the team’s first-ever playoff victory, with the girls defeating the Gatesville Lady Hornets 7-0 in the Class 4A Division II bi-district playoffs on March 19, 2025, at China Spring High School.

For the area playoff round, Godley will face the Castleberry Lady Lions.  The game is set for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 25 at China Spring High School. 

Finishing in second place during District 6-4A action, the GHS girls posted a 7-3 record to advance to the playoffs. This marks the team’s fourth postseason appearance since starting the soccer program in 2021.

Varsity Ladycats include Nola Briscoe, Cassie Capps, Morgan Cummings, Michaela Davis, Ryleigh Dollins, Kaylie Fabela, Stephanie Favela, Jordyn Geesaman, Griffin Gill, Rylie Graves, Sophia Hodges, Eden Kelly, Arynn Long, Gracelyn McMullen, Julyssa Ortiz, Rylee Swanson, Lexi Tyler and Kyla Williams.
