The Godley Ladycats continued their strong season with a commanding victory in the Class 4A Division II bi-district volleyball playoffs, sweeping Dallas Pinkston in three straight sets (25-8, 25-12, 25-12) on October 30, 2025, at Mansfield Timberview High School.

With the win, the Ladycats advance to the area round and will face Frisco Panther Creek at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Saginaw Boswell High School.

The playoff win builds on an undefeated regular season in which the Ladycats dominated District 12-4A play with a 12-0 record, earning the district championship and momentum heading into the postseason.

Varsity team members include Bailey Block, Harlee Boulard, Peyton Bower, Calleigh Brewer, Nola Briscoe, Brylie Chapa, Kase Grimsley, Kenadie Gonzalez, Lila Heiner, Abbigail Lee, Bryce Reed, Alissa Sullivan, Bella Van Wart, Payton Wilcox and Sady Williams.

The team is led by head coach Erin Johnson, assisted by Ashley Blue and Skyler Warrick.
