Godley Ladycats competed in the Class 4A area volleyball playoffs in a contest versus Celina on November 4, 2022, at Coppell High School.

The Bobcats, runners-up in District 11, won the four-game matchup (25-22, 14-25, 23-25, 16-25) to advance to face Van Alstyne in the regional quarterfinal. 

The varsity Ladycats completed a full sweep of District 10-4A volleyball play, posting a perfect 12-0 record while not losing a single set.  The district champions beat Fort Worth Dunbar (25-12, 25-14, 25-7) in the bi-district round to earn the spot at area.

Ladycats include Lexi Abbott, Ashtin Anglin, Jessica Castillo, Kendall Castor, Bree Hubbard, Kori Jones, Catrina Leverett, Baylee Mobley, Logan Reed, Kristen Robles, Trinity Roden, Audrey Rodriguez, Brynn Staton and Bella Van Wart.  

Head coach Courtney Hammett is assisted by Ashley Blue and Rus Mayes as well as managers Michaela Davis and Nina Jimenez.
