The Godley Ladycats completed a full sweep of District 12-4A volleyball play with a victory over Waxahachie Life on October 24, 2025, at the Godley High School Arena.

During the first half of district play, GHS girls posted victories over all district foes to earn a 6-0 record:  Hillsboro (25-22, 25-15, 25-17) on Sept. 9, Venus (25-12, 25-8, 25-11) on Sept. 12, Alvarado (25-17, 25-6, 25-12) on Sept. 16, Kennedale (25-20, 25-15, 25-12) on Sept. 19, Ferris (25-21, 25-16, 25-12) on Sept. 26, and Waxahachie Life (25-13, 18-25, 25-12, 25-13) on Sept. 30.

Second half scores show the Godley varsity winning over Hillsboro (25-17, 25-17, 25-14) on Oct. 3, Venus (25-14, 25-13, 25-9) on Oct. 7, Alvarado (25-11, 25-9, 25-14) on Oct. 10, Kennedale (25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 25-22) on Oct. 14, Ferris (25-8, 25-7, 25-11) on Oct. 21 and Waxahachie Life (25-12, 25-7, 25-13) in the district finale.

The Ladycats will face Dallas Pinkston in the bi-district playoffs on Thursday, Oct. 30.  The game will start at 6:30 p.m. at Mansfield Timberview High School.

The GHS varsity includes Bailey Block, Harlee Boulard, Peyton Bower, Calleigh Brewer, Nola Briscoe, Brylie Chapa, Kase Grimsley, Kenadie Gonzalez, Lila Heiner, Abbigail Lee, Bryce Reed, Alissa Sullivan, Bella Van Wart, Payton Wilcox and Sady Williams.
