The Godley Ladycats defeated the Academy Lady Bees 5-1 in the Class 4A Division II bi-district playoffs on March 20, 2026, at Waco Connally High School.

Godley will host Lake Worth in the area playoff round at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Wildcat Stadium.

The Ladycats’ game will be followed by a boys soccer playoff between Brownwood and Lake Worth at 7 p.m.

Finishing second in District 6-4A play, the Ladycats posted a 10-2 record to advance to the playoffs. The win marks the program’s fifth postseason appearance and second consecutive bi-district championship since its inception in 2021.

The varsity Ladycats include Nola Briscoe, Ryleigh Dollins, Kaylie Fabela, Stephanie Favela, Jordyn Geesaman, Griffin Gill, Rylie Graves, Sophia Hodges, Jordyn Hutt, Makenna Jaskolowski, Eden Kelly, Arynn Long, Denise Ortega, Julyssa Ortiz, Yarlei Romero, Rylee Swanson and Lexi Tyler.
