Godley High School seniors Samantha Andersen and Sierra Beratto announced plans to continue playing softball in college during a signing ceremony on December 6, 2024.

Andersen is headed to LeTourneau University in Longview, where the YellowJackets compete in NCAA Division III athletics.  Meanwhile, Beratto will play for the Northeast Texas Community College Eagles, who are part of Division I in the National Junior College Athletic Association.

The varsity pair will be working to help the Ladycats earn a fourth-straight district championship when the 2025 season starts in January.
